It can be challenging if you, or someone you care for, has Cardiomyopathy. Information about Cardiomyopathy is not so readily available and the opportunity to speak to others with similar experiences is rare. The CMAA Ltd. aims to provide people interested in Cardiomyopathy with support and information.

As a member, the CMAA Ltd. offers the following benefits:

A support network	with other people with cardiomyopathy and their families and friends.
Contact Persons	in each state to provide a person to contact for initial information/chat and obtain a membership pack.
Information package	which will be sent to you on joining and includes: It includes an information booklet on the specific type of Cardiomyopathy (courtesy of the CMA - UK); Fact Sheets; Past Newsletters; Phone Link Details; and Other Relevant Information.
Telephone Link	phone numbers between consenting members are distributed so that members can share experiences and provide support.
Quarterly meetings	meetings are held in Victoria, NSW and Qld (other states to follow), often with guest speakers in attendance.
Videotape/cassette loans	the guest speakers are often taped and these are loaned to all members on request.
Newsletters	are sent to all members on a quarterly basis, containing latest information, members stories, committee reports. An abridged version of the UK CMA newsletter is also distributed with the newsletter.
